Maricic is in his first year as a graduate assistant at BHSU in 2019.
He comes to Black Hills State from Mt. San Antonio College where he coached running backs. Prior to that, Maricic was at the College of Idaho where he was an assistant coach in charge of running backs from 2016-18. While coaching the Coyotes, the team was first in the Frontier Conference in rushing yards per game, as well as rushing yards per attempt. In 2017, six running backs were named to the All-Frontier Conference All-Academic Team, and five earned the accolade in 2016.Â
Maricic played running back at UC Davis. He graduated with a degree in psychology. Â
