Nickolas Davis

Nickolas Davis joined the Black Hills State university football staff as an Offensive Graduate Assistant prior to the 2020 season working as a tight ends coach.

Prior to BHSU, Davis spent one year as a graduate student playing under Josh Breske with the offensive line at Lindenwood University. While at Lindenwood, Davis was part of a GLVC championship run, finishing with a 9-4 record and a second round Division II playoff appearance

He played his college football at Jackson State University from 2015-18 where he played offensive line, defensive line, and tight end. While in undergrad, Davis volunteer coached with the offensive line at Callaway High School in Jackson, Miss. 

Raised in Fayetteville, Ga., Davis was a captain and played four-years on varsity at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga. While in high school Davis was a two-year starter at every position in the offensive line, accumulating a 49-4-1 record with a state championship in his sophomore year.

Davis is currently pursuing a M.S. in Strategic Leadership at BHSU and earned his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with emphasis in Broadcast Journalism & Media Production from Jackson State in 2019.
