Tim Schroer enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach at BHSU. He works with the safeties, kickoff returners, and punt returners.
During his first season at BHSU, Schroer coached RMAC All-Conference safety, Drew Hebel, as well as All-Conference kickoff and punt returner, Erick Hairston-Belcher.
Prior to Black Hills State, Schroer spent two seasons at Otterbein University working with the defensive backs. In 2016, he coached All-Conference cornerback Jalen Liggins, who was second in the Ohio Athletic Conference with eight pass breakups, two interceptions, and 45 tackles.
Schroer was a three-year varsity letterman for nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College. He played 32 games for the Cardinals as a defensive back, tallying 22 tackles and also contributing on special teams.
Schroer earned his bachelors in Business Management from St. John Fisher in 2015.
