Anderson joined the Yellow Jacket coaching staff as the Wide Receivers Coach in May 2019.
Anderson came to BHSU from Floirda Atlantic University. He joined the FAU staff as an Offensive Assistant/Assistant Tight Ends Coach under the direction of head coach Lane Kiffin in summer 2018. In addition to working primarily with the tight end position in an offense that finished 14th in total offense in the entire offense in the country, he worked with First Team All-Conference USA tight end Harrison Bryant. Anderson played a major role in recruiting as well in a class that went from 75th to 59th in 247 recruiting rankings.Â
Anderson was an Offensive Assistant/Assistant Wide Receivers Coach at Mississippi State beginning in 2016. Under the direction of head coach Dan Mullen, he worked directly with the wide receiver position and assisted in the developent of the school's career leaders in receptions, Fred Ross (Carolina Panthers) and Jordan Thomas (Houston Texans). Anderson was responsible for breaking down upcoming opponent game film and opposing defenses personnel.
Before trading in his pads for a clipboard, Anderson played wide receiver for Mississippi State University from the 2014 season to Spring 2015. As a WR for the Bulldogs, MIssissippi State achieved its first No. 1 ranking in school history for five straight weeks, the best record in school history (10-3), and a New Year's Six Bowl appearance in the Capital One Orange Bowl.

Originally from Midway, Florida, Anderson received his bachelors degree from Mississippi State University. He is the son of Karen and Scott Anderson. Scott is a long-time college football coach.Â
