2016:  Played in 11 games... Named All-RMAC Honorable Mention... Totaled 90 tackles including 34 solo... Had two interceptions for seven yards... Had 2 quarterback hurries and 8 pass breakups... 

2015:  Played in 11 games… Had 56 unassisted tackles and 29 tackles for a total of 85 tackles… Broke up 9 passes… Had 9 unassisted tackles against Chadron State…

2014: Played in six games… Totaled 32 tackles including 19 solo… Had 1.5 tackles for a loss for a total of three yards… Had two pass breakups… 

2013: In his first season on the field for the Jackets, Groves saw action in 10 games…he carried the ball one time for 21 yards on a fake punt…on the defensive end he had 21 solo tackles and 17 assisted for a total of 38 tackles.  

2012: Groves saw action in the opening game vs. Idaho St. in 2012 and recorded one solo tackle.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Groves was a 2012 graduate of Wiggins HS in Wiggins, Colo. Groves was a three-sport athlete and earned varsity letters in football (4), wrestling (3) and track & field (3). He was named team defensive MVP and competed for a State Championship in football. He received both all-state and all-conference honors. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.

Groves is the son of Darrell and Joni Groves and intends to study environmental/physical science.
