Abbie Fredrick rejoined the Yellow Jackets in August 2021 as an assistant coach with the cross country and track and field programs.
As a student-athlete, Fredrick ran collegiately for Black Hills State from 2016-20, earning All-Academic and All-American honors.
Prior to returning to BHSU, she served as the Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Dawson Community College in Glendive, Mont. during the 2020-21 season. There, she helped coach the program’s first All-American Cross Country athlete, while working specifically with sprints, middle distance and distance, and also acted as the strength and conditioning coordinator.
Fredrick earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from BHSU in 2020.
