Black Hills State University Athletics

Matt Tetzlaff is in his second year as the graduate assistatn for the track and field teams. 

Tetzlaff, a native of Pierre, South Dakota, competed competitively at North Dakota State University where he was the Summit League Champion and NCAA West Preliminary Round qualifier in the 110-meter hurdles.

On three occasions, Tetzlaff competed in the NCAA West Prelims in the 110-meter hurdles where his top time is 13.99 seconds in the event.

The 2013 graduate of NDSU is a two-time Summit League Champion in the 60-meter hurdles where he clocked in with a top time of 7.95 seconds during the 2012 season.

The 2009 graduate of T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre is the all-time record holder in the state of South Dakota in the 110-hurldes in 14.1 seconds.

Tetzlaff completed is bachelor's degree in exercise science and is enrolled in the Master of Science for Strategic Leadership at Black Hills State.
