High School:

Nicole played high school softball at Doherty High School inColorado Springs, C.O. She played softball for the Spartans from2004-2007, in which time she was named MVP in 2005. It was the 2005campaign that Albers also helped her team to a 5A Metro Leaguedistrict championship.  While she was playing high schoolsoftball she played with fellow Yellow Jackets Krista Gleiforst,Kelsey Lock, Alex Huntington, Alyssa Graziano and Sister PaigeAlbers.

Personal Life:

Nicole is a senior at Black Hills State majoring in ElementaryEducation with a minor in coaching. Albers is the daughter of Roband Betsy Albers from Colorado Springs C.O. where her father isworks for Comcast and her mother is a teacher’s aid. She hasone brother Ryne who is 13 and a sister Paige who is 18 and alsoplays for the Yellow Jackets. Her favorite food is perogies.
