Hope Bonlander was promoted to Associate Head Coach in July 2022 after joining the Yellow Jackets as assistant women's basketball coach in July 2019.

Prior to BHSU, Bonlander was Assistant Coach at South Dakota Mines from 2016-2019.

Before that, Bonlander was a student-athlete at Southwest Minnesota State from 2011-2016 on the women’s basketball team, appearing in 112 games and totaling 926 points in her time with the Mustangs.

Bonlander earned her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from SMSU in 2016, as well as her master’s in Education in 2019.
