Huberty will be entering her first season as an assistant coach. 

Prior to coming to BHSU, Huberty spent four seasons playing at NCAA DII Upper Iowa University under Head Coach Justin Maass. During her playing career Huberty earned a spot on both the All-GLVC First and Second Team as well as the All-Academic Team of Excellence. She was also a James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree and one time GLVC Player of the Week after a career-high 38 point performance her senior year. During her 4 years Huberty played in 100 games, averaged 32 minutes per game, 13 points per game, 4 rebounds per game, and 2 assists per game while shooting 43% from the field. Huberty scored 1,298 points in her career, leaving her as the fourth all time leading scorer in program history, and set a school record of 25-consecutive games scoring in double figures during her senior season while being the second leading scorer in the conference.

Huberty graduated Summa Cum Laude this past May with a double major in Sports Administration and Accounting. She was also a member of the Csomay Honors Program.
