Nate Brown was promoted to Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach in July 2023 after joining the Yellow Jackets as a Graduate Assistant Coach in August 2022.
His day-to-day duties include planning practice, skills development, scouting, in-game coaching, recruiting, and managing team study tables.
Prior to BHSU, the Australia native has served in many different coaching roles, assisting with programs such as the Sabrina Ionescu Basketball Camp, Kidsports and Basketball ACT (Australian Capital Territoty).
Brown also spends time as a personal basketball coach, helping individuals from learning the fundamentals, to refining their game.
His father was an elite women’s basketball coach, who coached players such as Penny Taylor and Lauren Jackson (Australian professional basketball players).
Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise Science from Bethany College in 2021, and is currently working towards his MBA here at BHSU.
