Rachel Erickson joined the Yellow Jacket athletic staff as women’s basketball Graduate Assistant Coach in August 2019.
Prior to coaching, Erickson was a multi-sport athlete at BHSU. She was a member of the basketball team from 2014-2018 and also played soccer in 2018.
Erickson was named All-Conference in basketball her junior and senior seasons and appeared in two national tournaments. In soccer, she earned 2018 RMAC Honorable Mention in soccer, scoring three goals with a .550 shot on goal percentage.
Prior to BHSU, she was a soccer Gatorade Player of the Year her junior and senior years at Cheyenne East High School. She was named All-State three times and won the state tournament in her junior and senior seasons.
Erickson graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Science Education and is currently working towards her master’s degree in Strategic Leadership.
