Biography

2013: Competed in five meets… Placed eighth at the season-opening Yellow Jacket Meet in 21:35.2… Season-best in the 5K came at the MSU Billings Yellow Jacket Invitational in 19:21.4… Season-best in the 6K came at the NCAA South Central Region Championship in 23:55.5… 

2012: Chase was a steady third place runner for the Yellow Jackets her sophomore season…her top finishes included a 5th place finish at the BHSU Yellow Jacket Invite (17:32.31 for 4K) and a 6th place finish at the Alaska Nanooks Short Course Invite (16:17.7 for 4K)……she finished in 61st place (25:56.50) at the RMAC Cross Country Championships…indoor RMAC Championships Chase competed in 3,000 and was on the 7th place distance medley relay...outdoor she ran a personal best of 5:10.58 in the 1500m and competed in the 5000m at the RMAC Championships.

2011: As a freshman Chase ran a season best time of 19:59 in the 5000m at the Montana State-Billings Invitational…indoor she ran a season best of 5:47.26 in the mile and 11:35.89 in the 3000m.
 
High School and Personal Data: Graduated from Redfield HS in Redfield, S.D in 2011…she was awarded All-Conference in cross country and track & field…earned Academic All-State honors for cross country…member of conference and regional championship cross country and track & field teams...state qualifier in track & field…nutrition is her intended major…parents are Shawn and Karla Chase.
