April Yenglin joined the Black Hills State University Athletic Department in August of 2024 as the athletics business manager, a role in which she oversees purchasing, budgets, and ticket sales for the department. She also currently serves as a member of the BHSU Staff Senate, bringing two years of prior service to the role.
Yenglin is no stranger to the university as she has worked for BHSU for over 13 years in a full-time position, starting in 2012 in areas such as grounds crews, secretary for the College of Educationn and Behavioral Sciences, and PA for the School of Business and Natural Sciences. During her time with the School of Business and Natural Sciences, she aided in the reacredidation of the AACSB.
The 2012 Black Hills State University alumna graduated with a BA in Phychology and a minor in Health. Additionally in 2023 she was a graduate of the SD CEO Women in Leadership program.
Yenglin is a native of Lakeview, South Dakota, a small ranching community, and now resides in Spearfish. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, fishing with her son, and exploring the Black Hills’ local activities.
