SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men's basketball team has announced the addition of Trey Winkler after signing his National Letter of Intent. Winkler joins Jackson Ehrlin who signed his NLI during the early signing period in November.

Winkler is a 5-9 guard from Gering, Nebraska, after tallying 689 points throughout his career. He is an All-State selection in Nebraska and a First Team Western Conference selection.

"Trey is a tremendously hard working and dedicated athlete," head coach Jeff Trumbauer said. "His attitude and abilities will be a welcomed addition to our program as we look to continue and shape our team."

The Gering High School product was a team captain for his senior season and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Ehrlin and Winkler are poised to join the Yellow Jackets this fall.
