Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University
men's basketball team earned their 5th win of the season as
the defeated Montana Tech 77-59 Friday evening at the Donald Young
Center in Spearfish, S.D.
“It was a great team win,” said head coach Bradd
Schafer. “Everyone contributed in some way and
I'm proud of our guys for sticking with it and getting the
victory.”
Black Hills State was up by four points with just over 10
minutes to go before the Yellow Jackets out scored Montana Tech
30-16 to earn the victory. The Yellow Jackets were led by sophomore
Tanner Adler who finished the game with 16 points off the bench.
Adler was one of four Yellow Jackets to hit double digits, fellow
sophomore Craig Von Allman had 11 points, and seniors Luke Enos and
Will John Johnson each chipped in 10 points.
Black Hills State will return to action Monday, November 15 as
they take on Chadron State in an exhibition match-up in Chadron,
Neb. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. MT.
