Fargo, N.D. – The Black Hills State University football
team could not overcome a strong defensive effort by No. 11
Dickinson State and fell to the Blue Hawks 21-0 in the final game
of the Dacotch Bank DAC Bowl at the FargoDome in Fargo, N.D. on
Sunday night.
The Yellow Jackets fell behind in the first quarter after
Dickinson State scored on a 3-yard touchdown run. Black Hills
State did not move the ball against the Blue Hawks. Dickinson
State came into the game 14th in the country in total defense
allowing only 277.9 yards per game.
Black Hills State finished the season 6-4 overall and 5-3 in the
DAC.
