Madison, S.D. – The No. 6 Black Hills State University men's basketball team defeated knocked off Dakota State 81-63 to move to 16-3 overall and 5-0 in the Dakota Athletic Conference.
Will John Johnson tallied his 11th double-double of the season scoring 14 points and grabbing 17 rebounds, 10 in the first half. Black Hills State had balanced scoring with five players scoring in double figures. Clay Pottorff had a game high 16 points while Craig Von Allman came off the bench to add 15 points. Cain Atkinson and Luke Enos each tallied 11 points against the Trojans.
The Yellow Jackets will return home to face Dickinson State next on January 21 in Spearfish, S.D. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. MT. The radio broadcast can be heard locally on KDSJ 980 AM.
