Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men's basketball team fell to S.D. School of Mines 76-74 on Thursday night in Spearfish.
Black Hills State could not find its shots from long range as the Yellow Jackets shot 28.6% from behind the arc in the game. Black Hills State once again had four players score double-digits led by senior Will John Johnson. Johnson finished the contest with 19 points and nine rebounds. The other three to score double-digits were seniors Luke Enos, Cain Atkinson and Spencer Childress who each had 17, 13 and 11, respectively.
The Yellow Jackets are now 17-5 overall with a mark of 6-2 in Dakota Athletic Conference.
Black Hills State will face Jamestown in Jamestown, N.D. next. The game will be on February 4 at 7:30 p.m. CT/6:30 p.m. MT. The broadcast can be heard locally on KDSJ 980 AM and online at www.kdsj980.com.
