Billings, Mont. - The Black Hills State men's basketball team fell to Rocky Mountain College in an exhibition game 60-62. The Yellow Jackets finished the weekend winless on the road.
The Yellow Jackets were unable to convert on a last second shot attempt by freshman point guard Brady Bisgaard as they lost to the Battling Bears by two points. Sophomore guard Austin Maag led the Yellow Jackets in scoring while senior forward Rob Johnson posted a strong performance in the paint. No official stats were recorded.
"We played much better on Friday night," said head coach Bradd Schafer. "We were much more relaxed, controlled, and confident than we were the night before and it showed. We need to continue to grow and build on our performance."
The Black Hills State men will be back on the hardwood on November 3 as they take on Dakota Wesleyan in their final exhibition game of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT.
