Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men's basketball team earned their first win of the season as they defeated future RMAC foe Chadron State 85-70 Tuesday evening at the Donald E. Young Center in Spearfish.

"I was really proud of our guys tonight," said head coach Bradd Schafer. "We came out on our home court and handled our business. We had a great performance out of Brady Bisgaard as well as from Rob Johnson and others. It was a much needed win for us, and it gives us something to build on for the rest of the season."
