Billings, Mont. – The Black Hills State University Women's Basketball Falls to Montana State-Billings by a score of 59-40 Friday evening to fall to 3-6 on the season.
The Yellow Jackets struggled in the first half and could not overcome a 23-10 halftime deficit. Black Hills State did not make a three pointer in the first half and shot just under 15% from the field. The Yellow Jackets finished the game shooting 27% from the floor, 27% from behind the arc and 64% from the charity Stripe.
Black Hills State was led by senior Kristi Ryan who finished the contest with 13 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore Jordan Kent finished the contest with six points to go alongside her 10 rebounds and one block.
The Yellow Jackets will return to action Saturday, December 10 as they take on Rocky Mountain. The game can be heard on 980 AM KDSJ, tip-off is slated for 1:30 p.m. MT
