Spearfish, S.D. – The Black Hills State University men's basketball team defeated Mayville State 58-49 on Saturday night in Spearfish.
"I thought we came out to play," said head coach Bradd Schafer. "We had some turnovers in the game. We finished with 15 which is way too many."
The Yellow Jackets are 21-5 overall and lead the Dakota Athletic Conference at 10-2.
Seniors Luke Enos and Clay Pottorff were the only Yellow Jackets to reach double-digit points scoring 18 and 13, respectively. Black Hills State struggled shooting the ball from long range making only 21.4% of their shots from behind the arc.
