Dickinson, N.D. – The Black Hills State University men's basketball team knocked-off Dickinson State 67-56 on Saturday night in Dickinson, N.D. to move to 23-5 overall and 12-2 in the Dakota Athletic Conference.
The Yellow Jackets had two players score in double-figures in the game. Luke Enos had 19 points and Cain Atkinson had 15 points. Spencer Childress led the team in assists with five. Childress and Enos each grabbed six rebounds on the night.
Black Hills State held Dickinson State to under 34% shooting from the field on the evening. The Yellow Jackets shut down the Blue Hawks from behind the arc allowing Dickinson State to make only 20% of its three-point shots.
The men's basketball will host the first round of the Dakota Athletic Conference tournament on Wednesday, February 23 against Mayville State. Black Hills State will enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. MT. Tickets are available in advance at the Young Center in Spearfish or can be purchased at the gate.
