Dickinson, N.D. – The Black Hills State University softball team was lost two games to Dickinson State on Tuesday in Dickinson, N.D.
The Yellow Jackets were defeated 5-0 in the first game of the day. Black Hills State managed only three hits in the game. Kyley Barela went 2-for-2 in the contest. Kelsie Chambers was the only other Yellow Jacket to get a hit in the game. Katie Wagner gave up all five runs on seven hits and was saddled with the loss.
In the second game, Black Hills State lost 9-0 to Dickinson State. Aleishia Giesey tallied the only hit of the game for the Yellow Jackets. Alex Huntington took the loss in the game after giving up nine runs on ten hits.
Black Hills State will face Western Nebraska Community College on Thursday in Spearfish, S.D. for two exhibition games beginning at 4 p.m. MT.
