Jamestown, N.D. – Black Hills State University volleyball dropped a match in three sets tonight at the Hansen Center in Jamestown, N.D. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Jamestown College Jimmies by scores of 14-25, 16-25, and 21-25.
The Yellow Jacket offense was lead by junior middle hitter Kylee Lamb who was 11-11 with five kills. Lamb recorded a hitting percentage of .455 and also added two solo blocks and one assisted block. Freshman libero Kelsey Olson once again performed well defensively leading the Yellow Jacket defense with 11 digs.
"We are making strides as a team, yet we cannot accept the late third set rally," said head coach Sally Nichols about the loss. "It has to come from the starting gates."
The Yellow Jackets are back in action again tomorrow as they square off against former conference opponent Valley City State University at 1 p.m. MT in Valley City, ND.
