Sioux Falls, S.D. – The Black Hills State University volleyball team lost two matches on the final day of the Sioux Falls Tournament.
In the first match of the day, Black Hills State would take on Bemidji State. Black Hills State struck early winning the first set 25-20. The Yellow Jackets could not maintain the early momentum though and would fall in the next three sets 25-14, 25-13, and 25-21.
Black Hills State would face rival S.D. School of Mines in the second match of the day. The Yellow Jackets committed 26 errors in the match compared to only 15 by S.D. School of Mines and lost the match in three straight sets 25-16, 25-15, and 25-23.
Black Hills State falls to 1-3 on the season. The Yellow Jackets will travel to the Nebraska-Kearney Tournament on September 9-10 for four matches.
