Dickinson, N.D. – The Black Hills State University women's basketball team defeated Dickinson State by a score of 60-57 in a battle between former Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) foes Friday evening in Dickinson.
Black Hills State got their offense going early as they shot 52% from the floor and 60% from behind the arc in the first half and took a 32-26 lead into intermission. The Yellow Jackets finished the game shooting 47% from the floor and 50% from behind the arc to improve to 4-8 on the season.
The Yellow Jackets were led by senior Kristi Ryan who finished the contest with 20 points while shooting 63% from the field and 57% from behind the arc, Ryan hauled in six rebounds. Junior Morgan Mines was the only other Yellow Jacket to finish the game with double digits, she finished the game with 10 points and five rebounds.
