Spearfish, SD -   The Black Hills State University Men's Basketball team overpowered the Minot State University Beavers by a score of 83-68, to reach a 9-12 overall record.  The Yellow Jackets shot 49% from the floor and 48% from behind the arc.

"We had a great offensive effort tonight and a great effort defensively in the first half," said Head Coach Bradd Schafer. "We were a little sluggish defensively in the second half, but I'm proud of how are guys were able to fight back and stretch the lead back to double digits."

The Yellow Jackets had four players reach double figures; both freshman Brady Bisgaard and junior Tommy Earl paced the Jackets with 19 points apiece,  Bisgaard shot 80% from behind the arc.  Freshman Brody Brisk had 12 points and senior Rob Johnson netted 11 points. Sophomore Cameron Anderson pulled in 8 rebounds.

Black Hills State led 45-26 at the half; however Minot State came out firing in the 2nd half outscoring the Yellow Jacket 42-38.  The late surge by the Beavers wasn't enough to overcome the Yellow Jackets strong start falling to Black Hills State 83-68.
