- Since BHSU joined the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in 2012, the two teams meet for the ninth time on the hardwood on Friday with tip off scheduled for 5:30 p.m. BHSU leads the all-time series 5-3.

- Kaylie Rader is currently the defensive leader for the Rangers. Rader has grabbed 70 rebounds so far this season, averaging 7.8 rebounds per game. Rader joins Taylor Trohkimoinen on the Preseason All-ConferÂence team. Offensively, Chante Church and Majestie Robinson currently lead the Rangers in scoring averÂaging 12.9 and 12.8 points per game respectively.

- Regis is slated to finish sixth in the conference after finishing 18-11 overall and 16-6 in conference last year.

THE GAME - Chadron State

- Black Hills State and Chadron State have met over 50 times on the hardwood. The two teams meet again on Saturday with a tipoff scheduled for 4 p.m. Chadron leads the all-time series 37-18.

- Kalli Feddersen currently leads the Eagles in scoring and rebounds. Feddersen is averaging 12.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

- Chadron is picked to finish 12th in conference coming off of an 8-18 overall and 8-14 in conference finish last season.

THE COACHES

- Black Hills State University head coach Mark Nore owns a 254- 164 record over 15 seasons with the Yellow Jackets. He is the all-time wins' leader for Yellow Jacket basketball.

- Molly Marrin is in her second season with the Rangers. In her first season, she led the Rangers to their fourth RMAC tournament appearance. A 2003 graduate of Regis, Marrin was a four-year letter winner earning First Team All-RMAC honors and named to the RMAC All-Tournament Team twice.

- Janet Raymer is beginning her first season with the Eagles. For the past two years, she was an assistant coach and was involved in recruiting. A 2003 alum of Chadron, Raymer was a four-year letter winner and was named MVP and best defensive player by her teammates.

SHOOTING 45 PERCENT OR BETTER

The Yellow Jackets are 1-0 when shooting 45 percent or better from the field. Against Colorado Mines, the Green and Gold shot 50 percent from the field and 85 percent from the line in their first victory of the season.

FIRST VICTORY
Â
Julia Seamans had a dynamite performance the last time out for the Yellow Jackets. Seamans scored a career-high 19 points against Colorado Mines leading BHSU to its first victory of the season. In 29 minÂutes of action, Seamans went 7-of-9 from the field, 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and 1-of-2 from the line. The seven field goals made and four three-pointers made is a new career-high as well for Seamans.

TRUE FRESHMAN
Â
Cortez Standing Bear scored her first set of collegiate points against UCCS. She scored four points and went 2-for-3 from the field and two assists in 19 minutes of action.
Abby Switzer scored her first set of collegiate points against Minnesota State Mankato on November 25 and saw nine minutes of action in her second collegiate game. Joining Switzer,
Gabby Doxtator saw her first minutes of action as well against Minnesota State after coming off an injury.
