OGDEN, Utah – In an exhibition game against Division I Weber State, the Black Hills State University men's basketball team fell, 105-52, on Saturday evening.
Fraser Malcolm led the way for the Yellow Jackets with 14 points, while
Patrick Mendes scored 12 points, including going 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
The Wildcats jumped out to an 11-1 lead, and led 58-35 at the half. Weber State made 11 three-pointers in the first period.
The Yellow Jackets only managed to score six points in the first 10 minutes of the second half, while the Wildcats made six treys. BHSU ultimately fell to the Division I foe, 105-52.
BHSU shot 29.1 percent from the field (16-for-55), while WSU was 65.0 percent from the floor (39-for-60). The Yellow Jackets were 5-for-25 (20.0 percent) from beyond the arc, while the Wildcats were 19-for-29 (65.5 percent) on three-pointers. The Green and Gold were outrebounded, 36-25.

The Green and Gold next open RMAC play, hosting UCCS on Friday, December 1, at 7:30 p.m.
