Soccer Blanked on the Road

Wrapping up RMAC and season play this weekend, the Black Hills State University soccer team struggled offensively falling to number one UCCS 0-4 and Metro State 0-2. The Yellow Jackets finish the season 10th in the RMAC with a 3-8-1 conference record and 3-12-1 overall record.
 
BH took the field Friday, November 1st against UCCS, number one in the conference and nation. Dz-Rae Jara faced 37 shots, 15 of them on goal making 11 saves. The Mountain Lions kept steady pressure keeping the ball in Yellow Jackets territory much of the game. The Yellow Jackets could not get down field and recorded no shots on goal.
 
The final game of the season saw the Yellow Jackets take on the roadrunners on Sunday, November second. This time it was Teagen Hartley who faced the pressure of Metro's offense. She withstood 37 shots, 11 of which where on goal, making 9 saves. Early in the first half, Caitlin Kelly had a quick breakaway to record BHSU's only shot on goal.
