MBB: Desnica named to Honor Roll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – One Black Hills State University men's basketball team member has been named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll, the RMAC announced Thursday afternoon. Stefan Desnica was the Yellow Jacket to earn the accolade. 

Stefan Desnica, from Temerin, Serbia, has a 3.507 GPA as an economics and finance major. The junior averages 7.9 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game. This is Desnica's second straight year on the Honor Roll.

To qualify for the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically, and hold a 3.3 cumulative grade point average.

The Yellow Jackets are currently tied for third in the RMAC, and are back in action this weekend at CSU-Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands. Friday's game against the Thunderwolves is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m.
