Spearfish, SD - The Black Hills State University men's basketball team is coming off a 94-76 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference win against Colorado State University Pueblo. This makes it their 10^th RMAC win and 11^th win in a row. Currently, the Yellow Jackets are 11-2 in conference play, keeping them tied for first in the conference standings. This weekend, they will take on Chadron State College in Chadron, NE on Friday at 7:30 pm and Metropolitan State University of Denver  at Denver, CO on Saturday at 6 pm.
 
This past weekend, Freshman Joel Scott had an outstanding outing, averaging 26 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Trey Whitley also had a big weekend, scoring 22.5 points per game. The Yellow Jackets have four players averaging double digits, led by Scott who averages 17.3 points per conference game and Tyler Oliver with 13.5 PPG. Scott is the best shooter in the league averaging 62 percent. Oliver also leads the team and sits second in the conference for rebounding, averaging 7.4 rebounds per game. The team leads the conference in defensive rebounding as well, only letting their opponents average 30.3 RPG. 
 
Chadron State College
The Chadron State Eagles are 2-11 in RMAC play and 3-16 overall. They are led by Senior Brian Rodriguez-Flores, who averages 17.2 PPG and 5.9 RPG. Senior Colby Jackson leads the team and sits second in the conference for assists per game, averaging 5.5. Last season, the Yellow Jackets won both match-ups versus the Eagles and lead the series 12-3.
 
MSU Denver
The MSU Denver Roadrunners are 6-7 in the conference and 10-9 overall. They are led by Senior Druce Asah who averages 13.3 PPG and Senior Garrett Carter with 9.7 PPG. The Roadrunners lead the series 15-1. Last season, the Jackets won one game versus the Roadrunners and lost one.
