Black Hills State University rodeo has announced its spring schedule of four rodeo events in April, including hosting the Will Lantis Yellow Jacket Stampede in Spearfish.

The Yellow Jackets open the spring April 9-10 at the SDSU Jackrabbit Stampede in Brookings S.D. before heading home the next weekend, April 16-17, to host their rodeo at Seven Down Arenas.

BHSU heads down to Lincoln, Neb. April 23-24 for the University of Nebraska Cornhusker Stampede and then wraps up the year at the ISU Cyclone Stampede in Ames, Iowa April 30-May 1.

Previously, the ISU Cyclone Stampede had been tentatively scheduled for Nov. 6-7, but will now be held in the spring season.
