Spearfish, SD – For the first time in recent memory, the Black Hills State University softball team will be hosting their home RMAC opener in February. They are slated to take on Fort Lewis College this Saturday and Sunday at Yellow Jacket Field. Game times are currently scheduled for noon and 2:00pm both days.

The Yellow Jackets opened their season on the road in a series of games against NSIC opponents. They currently sit at 1-6 on the season. #5
Breanne Henricksen picked up her first win of the season up in Minot.
The Skyhawks have been on the road in action in the 2020 courtyard classic and the cactus classic. They are currently 3-7 on the season and are also opening up RMAC play.
Fort Lewis currently leads the series 18-6 and last took the win 7-3 in march of 2019 after splitting the series 2-2 in Alamosa, CO.
