COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Triathlon and the College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) announced over the weekend that the fall 2020 varsity women's collegiate triathlon season has been canceled due to precautions surrounding COVID-19.

For Black Hills State, all four of their previously scheduled fall events have been canceled. USA Triathlon and the CTCA are exploring the potential feasibility of hosting a women's triathlon season in the spring of 2021.

"Although we will not be competing in the races planned for this fall, our team is looking forward to the opportunities to train in many of the beautiful venues in the Black Hills this season as we prepare for potential spring races," said women's triathlon head coach, Connie Feist.
