SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Black Hills State women's soccer dropped its match, 3-0 against Westminster Friday night at Dumke Field.
The Yellow Jackets (3-8-1, 2-6-1 RMAC) had a strong defensive showing, highlighted by freshman goalkeeper
Makayla Dannelly who hauled in a season-high 16 saves on 31 shots faced.
Offensively, BHSU totaled three shots on the night.
Emma Avery put up a shot on goal in the 39th minute, while
Lexi Crow and
Mikayla Hernandez each recorded shots in the second half.

Westminster kept the pressure on, scoring once more before the break to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
Dannelly continued to rack up the saves in the second half, keeping it a two-score game and allowing the offense opportunities to close the gap.
