After their weekend sweep in Colorado, volleyball is back at home taking on Chadron State and U Mary at the Donald E. Young Center on Saturday, Feb. 13.

Last weekend the Yellow Jackets won their first game of the weekend over the Fort Lewis Skyhawks after dropping the first set. The Yellow Jackets rallied back in set two, winning a close contest 25-12. The momentum stuck with BHSU through much of the final two sets allowing them to record their first victory of the season, 3-1 over the Skyhawks.

Following their victory over the Skyhawks, the Yellow Jackets faced off against the Westminster Griffins. BHSU took a couple of sets to find its groove against the Griffins, falling behind 0-2. Once the Yellow Jackets hit their stride, the Griffins had no answers as BHSU rallied back, winning the contest 3-2.

Chadron Eagles (1-1, 1-1 RMAC)
The Eagles are currently 1-1 after having their last two games postponed. Their last contest against the Hardrockers resulted in a win for the Eagles in three sets. The last time the Eagles and the Yellow Jackets faced off was Nov. 8 of 2019. The Eagles walked away with the victory in four sets, winning 3-1 completing a season sweep of the Yellow Jackets.

The Marauders are playing their season opener this weekend against the Yellow Jackets and the Eagles. The last time the Marauders played was Nov. 16, 2019 in a contest that saw them fall to the University of Sioux Falls 0-3. The last time the Yellow Jackets and Marauders faced off was in August of 2018. In that contest the Yellow Jackets walked away with a victory in five sets winning 3-2 over UMary.
