Black Hills State athletics has opened ticket sales to the 2021 Gold Rush Raffle, which will be held May 1, 2021 in the Donald E. Young Center.

This will be the fourth annual Gold Rush Raffle after last year's event was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and later combined with the university's Scholarship Gala in September's Comeback Extravaganza.

This year's event will include complimentary appetizers and beverages, a reverse raffle, and both a silent and live auction.

The reverse raffle drawings will include:

• First ticket drawn wins $100
• Every 20th ticket drawn wins a prize
• Every 50th ticket drawn wins $50
• The 200th name called wins $150
• Last ticket drawn wins the Grand Prize of $5,000

A limit of 400 tickets will be sold, with raffle tickets at $50 each and event-only tickets at $25. Buyers must be at least 18 years old to purchase and do not have to be present to win. One ticket admits one person to the event.

When purchasing, please make sure to indicate whether you plan to attend or not attend, as well as if you would like to split or don't split the grand prize if chosen.

This year, event-only tickets will be available for $25 to participate in the evening and social, but not be eligible for the raffle.
