LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Black Hills State soccer dropped it's match with Colorado Christian, 1-0 Friday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets (0-5, 0-0 RMAC) totaled eight shots on the day, and four shots on goal as a team.
Gabbi Nowodworski tallied two shots on goal on three shots, while
Annalise Huber and
Ashleigh Decker each had a shot on goal.
Dz-Rae grabbed four saves between the pipes over all 90 minutes.
BHSU put pressure on the Cougars early, putting together six shots and four shots on goal in the opening 20 minutes, including two shots on goal from Nowodworski.
Teams traded possessions until CCU found the net at the 41-minute mark to take a 1-0 lead that would hold into the second half.
BHSU was able to muster up two more shots the rest of the way from
Amber Carlson and Nowodworski, but couldn't score as they went on to fall 1-0.
