Black Hills State softball will head to Denver, Colo. to play Metro State in doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday.

First pitches on Saturday, March 27 are scheduled for noon and 2 p.m., then 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 28.

The Yellow Jackets are 2-10 on the season, both overall and in RMAC play, after splitting their first four games with New Mexico Highlands to open the season.

As a team this year Metro State is 4-4, winning each of its last four games - all against New Mexico Highlands. The Roadrunners have had 16 games either canceled or postponed so far this season.

Last year, the Roadrunners finished 18-6 overall and 10-2 in the RMAC before the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.
