COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Black Hills State's
Racquel Wientjes and
Megan Engesser were named to the RMAC All-Conference squads Thursday morning.
Wientjes was named to the First Team All-Conference squad after leading the conference in scoring recording 406 points this season and being ranked the #2 scorer in scoring average for the RMAC. Racquel also leads the conference in both field goal attempts, and field goals made for the 2020-21 season. Wientjes has played and started in every game for the Yellow Jackets this season recording over 600 minutes played.
This season Wientjes recorded her fourth double-double of her career and scored her 1,000
th point against the Hardrockers on January 23.
Engesser was named to the Second Team All-Conference squad in her first season playing for the Yellow Jackets. Engesser holds the highest 3-point percentage in the conference at 47.8% and is tied for the most 3-pointers made this season with 55. Megan averages 2.62 3-pointers per game and has racked up 241 points. Megan is automatic from the charity stripe having made 32 of 33 free throws this season. Engesser has played in all 21 of the Yellow Jackets games this season while starting in 18 and playing 549 minutes.
