Black Hills State volleyball is set to take on the Colorado Christian Cougars Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Lakewood, Colo.
 
The Yellow Jackets are currently 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the RMAC and coming off a home loss to Regis on February 25th. Throughout game play the Rangers jumped out to a two-set lead before the Yellow Jackets were able to push the match up to a fourth set after coming back strong in the third set winning 25-18. BHSU could not complete the comeback falling to the Rangers in the fourth set 25-15 and losing the match 3-1.
 
Colorado Christian is 1-7 overall and 1-5 in the RMAC. The Cougars are coming off their first win of the season against Adams State after going on a seven-game losing streak to open the season. After falling to the Grizzlies in their first set the Cougars rallied back recording three wins in a row to take the match 3-1 against Adams State.
 
The last time the Yellow Jackets faced off against the Cougars was in 2019. In that match the contest went to five sets and the Yellow Jackets emerged victorious winning the final set 15-11.
