Black Hills State softball will host Colorado Mesa for another pair of doubleheaders this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

The Yellow Jackets will play the Mavericks at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10 and at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 11.

Last weekend, BHSU went 1-3 in its doubleheaders with CSU Pueblo, winning the final game of the four-game set, 6-3 with the help of a grand slam and five RBI from Gianna Haley and Shayla Tuschen on the mound.

Tuschen has been hot at the plate over the last two weeks, currently sitting on an 8-game hitting streak.

BHSU is 3-20 on the season, both overall and in RMAC play after splitting their first four games with New Mexico Highlands to open the year.

CMU is 19-1 overall this season, and in RMAC play. The Mavericks were handed their first loss of the season from Regis on March 29, falling 12-6. Since then, CMU is the winner of its last five games.

The Yellow Jackets are 3-22 as a program against CMU, having lost their last 17 meetings with the Mavericks.
