Black Hills State University Set to Host 2021-22 RMAC MBB Tournament

Black Hills State athletics is hosting the 2021-22 RMAC Men's Basketball Tournament, Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5 in the Donald E. Young Center.

The BHSU men will host UC Colorado Springs on Friday at 7:30 p.m. after Regis and Colorado Mesa play at 5 p.m.

The winners from each game will advance to play each other at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the RMAC Championship.

Before the 5 p.m. game semifinal game on Friday, the RMAC will present their conference awards on the court.

This will include the Summit Award, Academic Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and the Regular Season Champion Plaque.

This is the fifth-straight season BHSU has advanced to the RMAC Tournament and its first time hosting the RMAC Championships.

Ticketing
Doors to the gym will open at 4 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are now available at RMACSports.org or can be purchased at the door.

Friday's tickets will allow access to BOTH games. RMAC Event Policy: No Refunds. Tickets are only good for the day of the game.

This is an RMAC event and tickets will be all general admission on a first-come, first-serve basis. Season passes or BHSU discounts will NOT be honored in postseason play.
Adult General Admission tickets will be $10, and Youth/Senior General Admission will be $5.

Students
All students will be admitted to this weekend's games FREE OF CHARGE with a BHSU student ID card. Other college students from outside institutions can purchase a ticket for $5 with the presentation of a school ID.

Additionally, for all students attending the games, a BHSU Student Pre-Game Event will be held in the Young Center Fieldhouse on Friday, March 4 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Wear your green and gold and head to the fieldhouse for free food, beverages, cornhole, Spikeball, door prizes, and other festivities, before heading into the gym at 6:30 to ensure spots in the bleachers.

The BHSU pep band will also be present to help rally the student body ahead of the 7:30 p.m. game.

Staff/Media
Credentials will be issued to all staff and media working this event. The credential will grant access to all three games, as well as a hospitality room, work room, and post-game press conferences.

Donald E. Young Center Information
The Fitness Center will be closed at 4 p.m. on Friday ahead of the games. The Young Center will return to normal hours on Saturday.
