Black Hills State's Athletic Communications department was honored this week, receiving two national awards from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2021-22 Publication and Design Contest.

BHSU's men's basketball game notes were voted Best in the Nation in the College Division Winter Game Notes category, while its men's basketball intro video was voted second in the nation in the College Division Winter Hype Videos category behind only Northeastern State.

Our MBB game notes are designed and maintained by Assistant AD for Communications, Riley Baker and the MBB intro video was created by former Director of Sports Media and Marketing, Colton Nickelson.

These are the first CoSIDA Publication and Design Contests awards won by BHSU.

All materials submitted to the CoSIDA Publication & Design Contest are judged by select members of the media and professionals from the printing industry. The organization has more than 3,100 members from across the U.S. and Canada.
