Black Hills State triathlon has released its 2022-23 schedule, which includes four fall events and one in the spring.

Of the four spring triathlons, one will be a national qualifier before the NCAA Championships in November.

The Yellow Jackets will open the season Sept. 3 close to home at the Southern Hills Triathlon in Hot Springs, S.D.

After that, the team will race in the Oktoberfest Triathlon in Longmont, Colo. on Sept. 24 before the West Regional Qualifier race in Stockton, Mo. On Oct. 15.

The 2022 NCAA National Championships will take place Nov. 12 Tempe, Ariz. to wrap up the fall season.

Then on April 23, BHSU will host the Black Hills Tri Fest at 7 a.m. in Spearfish to close the year.
