Black Hills State men's basketball was ranked 13th on the inaugural CBB Nation D2 Top 25 Preseason Poll Tuesday afternoon.

BHSU is atop the group of four RMAC programs included on the preseason poll, with Fort Lewis ranked 14th, Colorado Mesa 15th and Colorado School of Mines 16th.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 2022-23 season that saw a second consecutive NCAA DII Final Four appearance with records of 29-6 overall and 18-4 in RMAC play.

The men will tip off the 2023-24 season at home on Friday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. against Oklahoma Christian to open the Yellow Jacket Conference Challenge.
