Black Hills State softball will be opening the weekend playing its 21st straight road game on Friday to start the season with a pair of Friday, Saturday doubleheaders at Regis.

Games will start at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25 in Denver, Colo.

Metro is 16-14 overall this season and 13-7 in RMAC play. They started the RMAC season with three straight series wins, taking three of four from CSU Pueblo, Chadron State and Colorado Mines. The Rangers have since split their last two series with UCCS and Fort Lewis.

BHSU is 1-17 all-time against Metro dating back to 2012, and have not played against each other since the 2019 season.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a series at Metro State who is 19-1 in RMAC play, getting swept in four games.
